Dinner at BoneFish in Cape Coral.

Here is a great dinner that Virena and I had, mine was the shrimp, scallops, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans while Virena had curry shrimp with white rice.  It was a delicous dinner that we both enjoyed.  Then we headed back to the motorhome to watch Saturday night church.

Tuesday, good news this morning, received a call from the property management company that we have a new place to live.  Here are some pictures

it is a 3 bedroom house with an inground pool and on a salt water canal.  The question is who is going to be fishing in the canal and what will we be doing with the boat lift… guess time with tell.  It is time to get all the stuff out of the cars and motorhome.  I’ve checked into where the motorhome will be and it looks like there are storage places available that are 1/3 the cost of where it was stored in California.

OK who will be the first to be in the pool?

Stay tuned for further updates.

Have a great day.

We are in Florida

How about Saturday night dinner at the water front. Our place was Trapani’s Eatery, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi I had one of my favorites shrimp while Virena had a scampi salad with vinigeretti dressing.  We both enjoyed our dinner, and had enough to eat that Virena said no to having ice cream, and if you know Virena that is really saying something! We spent the night at Bay Hide Away RV Park in Bay St. Louis, MI.  And left late in the moring 3/30 drove to Bonifay, Florida.  And spent the night at Florida Springs RV resort and yes our first night in Florida, our site was tight getting in and out plus a little short for us to leave the car hooked up.  After having dinner at home, in the motorhome, we went for a walk to the local carryout where Virena pickout some ice cream.  Then went back to the motorhome for the evening and planned out the rest of our journey.  Then today we spent a shorter day driving only 255 miles and we are spending the night at Reddick Florida site 9 and it is a nice wide concrete site with W/E/S and cable TV, 2 nights in a row that we have cable TV.

Tomorrow we should arrive at our final campground on this part of the trip.  Stay tuned to see what we end up.

Have a great day!

More Texas

Wednesday evening we spent the night at Hill Top RV in Stockton, Tx.  and had a Great Mexican dinner at La Duene where I had a beef burito with beans and rice while Virena had a taco salad, then on the way how Virena decided to have a blizard at Dairy Queen.  Then we went to bed fairly early.  We were slow getting on the road today.

Drove to Boenre, Tx. which is in the west Texas hill country, where there are some 7% down grades that definitely got my attention.  We are staying at Top of The Hill RV Resort which is a Passport American Campground.  Nice site extra long 80 or 90 feet and about twice as wide as most sites we have stayed in.  Only problem Wifi not working boo hoo.

Stay tuned to see where we end up on this journey we are on.

Have a great day!
