Travel Day to Deming New Mexico.

Beautiful night last night and we both were to bed early and up at a reasonable time and on the road at 9:30 today.  We drove about 350 miles today and it was an interesting day.  Driving through desert where we saw more desert flowers mostly yellow with some white ones, I don’t know the names of the flowers.  This PM we saw several dust storms on both sides of the road but didn’t have to drive throught any.  Also there were some rain sprinkles just barely enough to run the wipers so no big deal, and drove through some strong winds.

Tonight we are spending the evening in Deming and will be back on the road tomorrow.

Goodyear, AZ.

Ah, today was a much better day, not all the lifting and moving of boxes.  Both Virena and I slept great last night went to bed early and didn’t get up until mid-morning, I think it was pure exhaustion!!  Todays drive was uneventful and we are staying at our favorite campground in Goodyear, Cotton Lane RV Resort.  This is the one we usually stay at when enjoying spring training.  I think we are going to spend an extra day here to recover before moving on.

Things we saw today, there were white, orange, and yellow wild flowers along the road but not many, we had to look for them.  Also my hands free worked great; however, Virena had problems with hers, one more item on the list for tomorrow.  Now we are going to have dinner in the motorhome and to bed early as we are both still tired from all the packing and moving of boxes.

On the road…

So we finally managed to get everything out of the condo and pull away at 5:00.  Then had to do a quick run to the bank to deposit a check that came in todays mail.  Left the motorhome at Walmart while making the bank run.  Then back to the motorhome and headed east.  Tonight we are spending the night at Morengo with no hookups but we are on our way… stay tuned to see where this adventure is going to lead us.  New adventures and I’m sure many surprises 🙂

Guess I’m not as young as I think, very tired tonight and looking forward to getting a good nights sleep and on the road again tomorrow AM.
