Niagara Falls
Today we made a trip to the Falls, and here are a few of the pictures
One of the great beaches in Wisconsin is at Two Rivers
and you can see, also they have a very nice pier.
From here we are headed to No-Nah-Ma Resort in Nahma Michigan. Very quiet campground, with only 1 TV channel over the air and no WIFI, we were right on the water and could have tied up a boat right in front of our camp site. Here is a view from the front of the Motorhome
And here is Lake Michigan’s beach in this area, there had been a recent storm and can see the stuff washed up on the beach, these pictures we taken from the same spot just facing the opposite direction.
And for all the golfers there is a golf course as part of this campground with a price of 10.00 per round walking or additional cost of 20.00 for a cart. To give you an idea of the course I’ve included a couple of pictures. It definitely has some water hazards.
When leaving Nahma we headed east on US route 2 towards St. Ignace and on the way stopped for lunch along the Northern shore of Lake Michigan one of the prettiest beaches I’ve seen anywhere.
Kind of interesting as I walked towards the birds they would takeoff and fly behind me and land there. As you can see the wind was blowing so there were even some waves to complete the picture.
From here we are heading for Toledo and visit with family and friends.
OK, lets see if I can do a quick update.
Places we have been and things we have seen since the last post.
Sioux Falls SD, checked out the downtown area plus walked along the river where the walls are. From there we visited Fargo North Dakota, my take on both eastern South Dakota and North Dakota are very productive farm land the area also looks prosperous fairly flat with a few rolling hills. From Fargo we headed east to Minneapolis where we watched the Twins beat the Indians 3-2 plus because we were early they gave us a bobblehead and of course since it is the twins there are 2 players Morneau and Mauer.
From Minnesota be headed to Wisconsin to spend time with friends in Burlington. Enjoyed a wonderful meal overlooking Browns Lake, then we went to see a Brewers game on the 24th and watched them lose to the Padres 6-2.
Then on Thursday we took a drive to Chicago to checkout the Navy Pier so Virena could feel like home being in a big city.
check back soon to see more…
