Celebration time RV sold

Time to celebrate we sold the RV and now looking forward to our new adventure.

When it is time to travel how will we be doing our travel?  Will we drive or fly and stay in motel, hotels, AirbNb’s or?  Stay tuned to see what we decide.  I’m sure with all the traveling that we’ve done in the past we are not going to just sit at home and do nothing… Just doesn’t seem to be our style.

As part of our new traveling we spent last Thursday visiting with Tracy and Bobby in Orlando area.  We enjoyed a great bar food meal together at Devaney’s, after lunch to we drove to Tracy and Bobby’s home to enjoy an afternoon sitting in the back yard catching up on life.  As the day went on we watched the SpaceX rocket, the first one to fly for a second time, take off from Cape Canaveral, it was great to see the successful launch.  Great ending to a wonderful day.

May 24, 2016

What a great day, we left Parkview RV park (OK for over night but not a destination, they advertise WIFI but it was not working when we were there) heading west on the 10.  Was nice to have an uneventful travel day.  Just lots of central and west Texas, a little rolling and we were climbing most of the day as we traveled towards El Paso.  Our drive through El Paso went better than expected, we hit town at 2:30 and were through before rush hour started, continued for another 50 or so miles and spent the night at Coach light RV Park on the west side of Las Cruces, NM.

Tonight we decided to something different. After connecting the Motorhome we decided it was time to have a Whataburger for dinner, it had been a long time for both of us and we both remembered their meals as being very good and we were not disappointed0524161803

Vee was good and had a chicken salad, while I just enjoyed having a 2 patty burger with cheese, FF, and a soda if I’m going to blow it I’ll do it all the way.  Slightly related the good news is my weight is below 200 with a goal in the high 180’s before the trip is over only 10 more lbs to go.
